First laugh!

By Goddess in Progress ·   November 11th, 2007

Let the record show…

This evening, around 6:30pm, Daniel was getting ready for a bath. We got him down to his diaper and he was happy as a clam lying on the couch. Smiling away at my visiting dad & stepmom. I just couldn’t help myself and blew a raspberry (zerbit, spoofer, whatever you prefer to call it) on his adorable buddha belly. And then, he did it. A real, honest-to-goodness giggle. Not just the smile and “haaa” that they’ve both been doing for a while. A no-mistaking laugh. I was delighted, and called M in from the kitchen. I blew on his belly again, and again! A laugh! I’d say we got it four or five times. It was awesome.

Sadly, it happened too quickly to photograph or videotape it in any way. And so, I turn to you, dear internet. This is the record of my son’s first laugh.
