One day, and half a gallon of Pedialyte later, and the kiddos seem to be on the mend. Interestingly, Daniel seems to take after his father and prefers to sleep things off. After sleeping a record 12 hours on Tuesday night (the onset of the stomach bug), he then took a three-hour nap on Wednesday. This from my child who generally wakes up like clockwork at precisely 45 minutes, with no interest in going back to sleep. Sigh.
Thankfully, both kids remained in surprisingly good spirits, if a little low-energy. Minimal crabbiness, just small bottles of Pedialyte and some nasty diapers.
If things stay good and they seem back to 100% by tomorrow morning, then we’re go for Project Ferber this weekend. I’ll write more about that later, but yeah. It’s time.
Anyways, I hope the rest of you are feeling OK. This stomach bug seems to have affected almost everyone I know, both in real life and in blog-ville. I didn’t know this kind of virus could be transmitted over the internet…

Glad to hear that you guys are on the mend!
It is fascinating to observe what they inherit from us. Glad you all are feeling better.
Glad to hear you are all on the mend! That is a short vomiting virus (said while knocking on wood since we’ve already been through 2 vomiting viruses this cold and flu season).
Good luck with Ferber. We did it and it was so worth it.
i might get upset if my 14-month-old twins catch this stomach virus from your blog…

sorry for repeat comments. blog issues. maybe it IS the virus!
I am (im)patiently awaiting your Ferber post. I’m thinking it’s time for us, too…

Glad to hear everyone’s on the mend. Creepy how germs find their way through the computer!
Good luck with Ferber. We amended Ferber to our liking and when it finally worked (only took a few nights), it was like a miracle in our house. We totally wished we had done it earlier.
