Hi,
Sorry to hear the sleeping has been rough today. About the sign language class...when did you start this with your babies? Do you take them by yourself? Would you recommend a 'formal' signing class? My twins are 5 months and I have been signing to them for about 3 months now...obviously I am not expecting them to sign back yet. Just curious as to how the classes are going. Have your babies made any signs yet?
Thanks,
Trina

We are so there with you. Friday night I thought I was going to lose my mind. I think it is the heat...makes me irritable too.

sorry, liz. i is so rough when they start to switch it up. i think you are right about not being ready for one nap (my 13 months olds are/are not...you know what i mean?) but they may be starting the phase where they need a little less a.m. nap time to allow for the p.m. nap.

when we first started with the nap wars in the p.m. i found waking them at 1 hour 15 minutes helped, then gradually cut it to one hour. this seemed to let them get a really good p.m. nap.

of course, then that started to fail last month and we took the one nap plunge. don't ask. it has not been super pretty round here. and that may negate any 'advice' i just left because i think the sleep gods always just passed right by this house. we must operate outside their zone or something.

hang in there. i am with you in the 'pass' phrase. smiles. amiee
