Friday Foto Finish Fiesta – Crazy Cold
Alright, for the first time, I’m finally jumping on Candid Carrie’s awesome bandwagon for the Friday Foto Finish Fiesta!
This morning’s theme in my house is Crazy Cold. Partially because it is, in fact, crazy-ass (wicked) cold outside right now. Negative six. And I still need to pack the kids in the car and go shopping because I have nothing to wear to some Inauguration events this weekend. Business casual and mommy casual, it would seem, do not really overlap.
But the other reason is that it appears the Cold has made my kids extra Crazy. This morning, they not only requested to put on their hats, but also their boots! It was quite a sight.

Great photos! The kids are so cute. Good luck shopping. We are breaking our “get out of the house everyday” rule and staying put at home. I’m not a New England native, and my southern blood is telling me to stay home and hibernate today. Maybe the girls and I will do some baking.

It’s -20 here. I’m planning my escape to tropical climates. But, on the bright side, we are going to have a heat wave this weekend–23 by Sunday!!

It is pretty darn cool here today too. We stayed put yesterday, but today we had to make a trek to the peds and pharmacy due to colds X 2 and an ear infection for Jonathan. Brr. Good luck with the shopping…Macy’s often has really nice stuff in their clearance racks, if you are looking for something fancy. Happy shopping!

We had our last Isis class today so we ventured out. Was cold/windy. I don’t think my kids had ever really felt “cold” on their faces like this before. I love the photos (as usual) – we need to discuss cameras/editing techniques one of these days. Good luck with clothes shopping and I’m jealous re: inauguration and can’t wait for the posts!

That is crazy cold! But you had a heat wave compared to us … I just keep thinking it is only January! Now we had a warm up and are expecting four inches of snow today.

What adorable photos and kids. My boy/girl twins will be 18 next month. Hard to believe. I’m pretty sure they were the age of yours just last week.

How adorable are they?? I found you from Candid Carrie’s site. My little guy is now 6 yo but I remember the days when he looked like that!
It’s been so cold here in Utah but the snow has at least stopped for now! I am dreaming of spring though. Can’t wait!
