Happy Thursday, everyone! Please, play along (using Mr. Linky below) and let me know how you’re surviving this Happy Thursday! Something good today? Something you’re looking forward to for the weekend? Or are you just glad the week is nearly over?
I think I meet all three criteria. Something good today: we’re trying out a new toddler-friendly playspace today. It’s frigid here in New England, and April seems like a dream that will never come. So a new indoor place to play is always welcome. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I’m looking forward to this weekend for several reasons. For one, we have friends coming to stay. Good friends of M’s, and they’re newly engaged so I get to pick their brains about wedding stuff. Always good times. And then, on Sunday morning, I hop on a plane to Washington DC! Could I be more excited? I think not.
I’m also, honestly, glad this week is almost over. I’ve felt a little overwhelmed this week. To-do list piling up, feel like I’m way behind on responses, phone calls, emails, and the like. I finally feel like I’m catching up and close to being under control.
And hey, with this view from my computer while I’m posting? It’s a Happy Thursday, indeed.
Sorry Liz…I mis-typed my link the first time. My happy Thursday is that we have no school today and possibly tomorrow as well. So I get to stay in my warm cozy house with my daughter and husband (since he teaches too).
My Thursday is unexpectedly happy in that we have a new generic Rx for Sarah’s freshly diagnosed strep…and freebie sample eye drops for the bacterial eye infection!
As if that weren’t good news enough, when we went to Target to fill the prescription, there on the clearance rack was the winter coat Sarah has been wanting, in her size, marked down to $8.74! Happy, Happy Thursday!
