Today is Happy Thursday, indeed, because the Daddy is finally home from a business trip to Canada. A two-day trip turned into a three-day one, and it was all to do something he knew wouldn’t fix the underlying problem, anyways. Not a fun trip to the Frigid North for him, and certainly sad for us to miss out on quality Daddy time. But, very late last night, he finally returned to balmy New England (seriously, it rained yesterday. WTF?!), and managed to not spin out on the highway on the way home. The kids are excited to see him, I’m excited to see him. And we hope he doesn’t have to go back any time soon. No offense to the nice people of Winnipeg, but we’d rather be right here.
On Thursdays, Kate and I head over to the Creative Discovery Museum for a 1-2 year old class. The teacher is wonderful, and allows kids to be kids, whether they want to participate or not…and Kate? many times, not. Although I know she likes the class, and I like the moms, so we both need it. I love Thrusdays because of this class!
I probably screwed up the link…forgive me as last night’s rare insomnia kept me up until 5 this morning…
Oh yeah, days without Daddies are rough! I’m glad he made it home in one piece!

I like the idea for this meme because I am a dreamer and a planner. I will add this to my To Do Blog List. Glad that Daddy is home for the big weekend!
