I’ve decided to start up a new feature here at Goddess in Progress: Happy Thursday! For the whole story, check out the Happy Thursday page. But, in short, it’s that time of the week to think of something that makes you happy! Thursdays can seem tricky, the week is getting long and it’s not yet Friday. But once you get through Thursday, you’re home free!
So, what makes your Happy Thursday this week? Something fun from earlier in the week? A great activity planned for the day? Or are you just glad it’s almost the weekend? Grab the Walter button, add your post to Mr. Linky (below). And have a Happy Thursday!
For me, I’ve actually had a surprisingly good week. Sad though it is to have M go back to work and see him less, it was actually nice to be back in my own routine with the kiddos. For whatever it’s worth, I sort of felt more in control.
And, it doesn’t hurt that my kids have started spontaneously playing with me and with each other in silly new ways.
Like chasing each other around the living room with blankets on their heads…
Then lying down on the floor with them and giggling…
And having a tickle fight… (I swear, they were both laughing hysterically, and when Rebecca got up to walk away, Daniel swatted her leg and made her come back for more.)
And playing peekaboo with me while I’m on the computer (leaving lots of comments – holy crap, you guys were awesome yesterday, and it took a TON of time to leave comments back for you!)
Please, play along with Happy Thursday!

Playgroup today! And it’s the first time we’re going since the babies learned to crawl; can’t wait to see them go through the tunnel!

Well I should probably read blogs before I write mine. My post is the opposite of Happy Thursday.

Liz, I confess I had not been to your blog in a little while, and now I am suffering from severe blog envy. I absolutely love it. But you are making the rest of us look bad.

Oh – if I didn’t already have my post for the day planned I would totally join – next week maybe.

Love the Happy Thursday idea!
In my family, Thursdays are “Coffee Day.” My mom, who cares for my twins while I work, brings them to me for nursing everyday at lunch. And on Thursdays, while the babes are still asleep in their carseats, I slip into her car and we make a Starbucks run. I have a Starbucks addiction, and Thursdays are the best!
My hubby is off on Tuesdays/Wednesdays, so Thursday is like my Monday. Not good.
Oh Goddess, I LOVE this idea! Hmmm….lemme go diving into some photos and come back….

Today, I set up a carpool so I will be doing the drop-off-at-9-pick-up-at-12-pick-up-again-at-3 routine only every other week! Yahoo! That makes me happy!

This is such a great idea! My Thursday was actually awful, but I’ll play along in the future. Walter is pretty persuasive.
I didn’t realize you’re a double-bassist! Long live orchestra members with oversized instruments!

I haven’t actually read your blog before, but I remember seeing the “goddessinprogress” name while I was pregnant with the babies last year…maybe on babycenter?
You have a really cute, popular site! I’m jealous!
This is a great idea (with more great pics of your kids, of course!). I’m all over this next week.

Very nice article. I’m finding out more about how to potty train my toddler from reading the info on your website, then I’ve ever did from the advice given to me by my own mom. Hope it’s ok that I share this post on Del.Icio.us?
