I was excited to get a phone message last night telling me the date of the big Level II ultrasound. My OB said that they would schedule it for me (I’m apparently not qualified to call and make the appointment myself, they’ll only let office staff do it!), and said that it would be “around” 18 weeks. My past experience has led me to believe that “around” 18 weeks would mean “18 weeks or LATER.” I’ll be 18 weeks on March 30, and we leave the next day to visit my husband’s family in Florida for Passover. I really wanted to have it before that trip so we’d have something exciting to tell, but I figured I wouldn’t get that lucky.
But I *am* that lucky! I got a message last night saying it is scheduled for March 29 at 10:30am, the same day as my next regular OB checkup (late-afternoon). It’s going to be one big pregnancy day. I’ll probably just take the whole day off of work. Hooray! So exciting.
So the mini-countdown to the big ultrasound begins… four weeks from tomorrow!
