Some of you may have guessed by my silence…
Daniel and Rebecca arrived Friday morning, August 3, at 6:03 AM (yes, they were both born at 6:03!). Daniel arrived first at 6 pounds, 2 ounces. Rebecca followed almost immediately thereafter at 4 pounds, 8 ounces.
I’ve been discharged from the hospital, but the babies remain in the Special Care Nursery for a bit longer. They’re in an open-air crib together, and neither needed any intervention for their breathing. Little peanut girl is feisty as can be, and is eating her brother under the table. Lazy boy looks like a linebacker compared to her, and takes his sweet time eating.
We’re thrilled, feeling good, recovering well, and can’t wait for the babies to join us at home.
Off to pump again before we go back to the hospital for the next feeding. I’ll try to post the whole story later. But you’ll understand if it takes me a bit of time…

How wonderful!!! Congratulations

yeah! congratulations and welcome Daniel and Rebecca. Glad that you are recovering well and the babies are together in the nursery.
Ahhh…the joys of pumping! My babies never latched, despite MANY visits to the LC…it was pumping, pumping and more pumping for a few months. Worth it though! We supplemented with formula the entire time, however…due to their weight gain and the fact that I was only making enough for a baby and a half!
Congrats, again!!!! Can’t wait to see pictures…
congratulations!!! welcome to the world sweet babies.
the memories of those first few weeks…pumping…c-section aftermath…feeding every three hours. if you’re recovery is anything like mine, you’ll be feeling SO much better in two weeks. but for now, the utter joy and amazement of your beautiful babies will get you through anything!
Oh, major congratulations to you! I’ve been thinking and wondering about you lately, and was so happy to see the birth announcement on BC. Enjoy your precious bundles. So glad to hear everyone is doing well!
