Babies’ first primary

By Goddess in Progress ·   February 5th, 2008

Ah, 38 degrees and freezing rain. Perfect voting weather…? Well, no matter. M and I took the kids to our friendly neighborhood polling place and cast our votes. Being 10:15am in the suburbs, there was mostly just a smattering of older folks at my location, no waiting. The twins wore their Tiny Democrat t-shirts (since the Obama shirts are both too large, and would probably be considered electioneering) and were ooh-ed and ahh-ed over.

So, there you go. We voted! Did you? Tell me all about it…

I’ll be dropping off my absentee ballot tonight, and dragging my hubs to do the same. Can’t wait!

I was on paternity leave the first election day after my twins were born. I bundled them up and took them with me (they were five months old) and we were rock stars in the polling place.

We didn’t have cute democrat shirts, though. So cute!

I voted but left the kids at home with papa. Papa forgot to change his party (CO doesn’t let independents vote in the caucus) so I had a date night with Obama.:)

I am totally buying some Obama Baby shirts for my little ones.
