Since the kids are sitting up reasonably well on their own these days, and because the splashing in the infant tub was getting completely out of hand, we’ve moved baths up to the “real” bathtub! It’s not an ideal setup, as our bathroom has kind of an odd layout, and we have sliding doors instead of a shower curtain. That may have to change, since it makes for a relatively small portion of the bath that we can actually use. But it’s a fun development, nonetheless. And Daniel definitely seemed to enjoy himself, splashing away with the washcloth. My kids are getting so big, so fast!

Liz – I love your blog. That pic of Daniel is adorable. I can’t beleive how big the kiddos are getting. We also moved Brady to the “real” tub because our kitchen sink baths in the infant tub resulted in more water on the floor than in the bath. Ahh….milestones.
Wowee! What a huge milestone. Jack has only ever taken one bath in a real bathtub … at Johnny’s aunt’s house in Louisiana. When we went for his mom’s 60th birthday celebration, we didn’t want to pack a baby tub with us or get one of those inflatable ones, so Jack got his first big-boy bath then. I want to start bathing him in the real tub in our apartment, but the problem is that the tub is old and no matter how hard I scrub, it looks grubby. We also have the sliding door problem, and our sliding door track is so old and rusty, and frankly a little mildew-y. I don’t even want to bathe mySELF in our tub! I’ll have to figure something out, though, since we’re not buying a house until next summer. Anyway, I digress. What an adorable picture of your little man splashing in the tub! He totally looks like M in this pic, by the way.
