When I was younger, I always had a strange desire to be interviewed. Like for a magazine article or something. Maybe I was just hoping I’d be important or famous enough that people would want to know stuff about me. Or maybe I’m just plain weird. Hell, I even liked filling out college applications and random questionnaires. Who knows.
But, now I have a blog! And assuming Google Analytics isn’t lying to me, I have readers! So why don’t you help a girl’s dream come true (and maybe help me come up with more NaBloPoMo topics). Please leave a question for me in the comments! What do you want to know? What do you want me to write about? What do you want me to stop writing about? (haha!)
Thanks in advance for the inspiration. The act of reading and writing blogs has become a really important part of my life, and a lot of it is because of the feedback you guys provide. Obviously the idea of reader-submitted questions is one I’ve blatantly stolen from a number of sources, including Laura’s Mommy Journal and Little Bites of Heaven. It sounded like such fun, I had to jump in!

Do you have a certain side that you usually carry each kid on (ie Daniel on the left)?
Do you have a order in which you load/unload the kids from the car?
Do you have a side that you always put them on in the grocery cart?
Do you have any other habits or routines like that that you have never realized?

Can you make me quilt? Knit me scarf?
Those ARE questions!

I want to know how you decided what you wanted to do in life BEFORE you became pregnant.
Did you like high school?
Tell us something you thought you would totally suck at doing, but you were actually not so bad at it.
Do you feel you are living the life you intend to live?
HOT SEAT!!!!
(Hot seat came from BBC, not sure of origination.)
You always seem pretty upbeat and find a positive spin to every situation. Do you think you are like this IRL?
How do you think facing infertility shaped your mothering style/attitude?
Other than kids, what is your proudest accomplishment?
What is your favorite thread from the BH board? (If you never lurked there, ignore this question. Bonus points if it involves Magic Cream.)
What is your worst True Mom Confession?
What is your worst habit?
Is there anyone IRL who does not know you have a blog?
If you had one day with unlimited money, unlimited time, and NO access to children or the internet, what would you do with your time?

OK I got inspired by Lisa, so one more:
Tell us one thing you completely suck at doing, because it is obvious you are a good parent, good cook, good crafter, good photographer, and good writer.

What little things about living in Chicago do you miss? What would you miss about MA if you moved back?
Do you intend to go back to work when the kids are a certain age? If you do go back, do you think you will stay on the same career path?
Since your kids are still on two naps a day (for now) do you have certain things you always do during the morning nap. Or certain things you always do during the afternoon nap? For instance, even though my boys are on one nap a day and they only nap at our house on the weekends, I always do the same thing during their Saturday nap (prep food for the week and laundry) and their Sunday nap (make a fantastic Sunday meal).
When I think of moms who ‘do it all’, your name is inevitably one of the top on my list. What things, mom-related, are you really proud of? What things do you strive to improve upon?
I might have to steal your Q & A idea…I am in a total blog rut lately.

Ooh, I want a quilt too!
Not what you were looking for, huh?
How about: how do you get through a hard afternoon?
At seemingly random times throughout my life, my mom would say “Oh, that’s something I learned in sorority rush.”
So, as a former Rush Chair–I mean, Membership VP–what did you learn during rush that you still use today?
(And you can’t say “how to smoke an entire cigarette in less than two minutes without passing out”, cause that’s at the top of my list. And I know you didn’t smoke.)
Ooooh, I LOVE being an “interviewER!”
What wonderful quality(-ies) did you discover in your husband only AFTER you had kids?
Tell me the story behind your gorgeous wedding flowers…
I’ll leave it at two — for now!

Here’s my burning question.. what do you feed your kids? Food is such a pain at our house, I’m always looking for ideas. And it’s different with twins, don’tchaknow.
Would you write any differently if no one you knew in real life was reading your blog?
How would your life change if you suddenly stopped blogging?
What is your favorite thing to do when you have the night “off.”
Dang. These are awesome questions!! And…I can’t think of a single one right now. Perhaps later.

Hahaha Eve! That is hilarious. I think that’s something I learned during rush as well!
Here’s my question…can you write a book on how to be such a fabulous mom?
Oooh these are all such GREAT questions! Sorry I got here late, I’ve been overwhelmed with work assignments this week (so much for the “I make my own hours!” thing!).
We all experience “mommy guilt” from time to time. Is there something that seemed like a huge deal at the time that, in retrospect, really wasn’t? (In other words, what was the biggest waste of “mommy guilt”?)
Do you ever think about going back to work when Daniel and Rebecca are in school? If so, what would your dream job be?
And … as the twins get older, any thoughts on having more kids?
