Makes My Monday: Video Edition

By Goddess in Progress ·   February 2nd, 2009

Apparently, talking trash about it and spending an entire day researching replacements for it was enough to smack my camera back into line.  That, and one more Google search that came up with suggestions to make it cooperate with iMovie.  Long story short, if I give the camera and iMovie my complete and undivided attention, and delete everything off of my camera as soon as it’s done importing, they will get along and easily import the video directly from the camera.  And, may I say, thank God!  I was feeling terrible just thinking about replacing such a nice camera, especially since it was a gift from my dad.  I’m glad it’s working again.

And, now, I get to torment you with some video of my kids!  First, I tried to capture Daniel “cleaning” the dishwasher with a small piece of sponge.  He had been at it for a while, but by the time I got the camera out, he was more interested in hiding in the small cabinet next to the dishwasher.

Second, a bit of my kids and their love for animal sounds. They have a book that is just pictures of baby animals, which they love.  They often bring it to me and just flip from page to page making all of the noises.  This mish-mosh was the best I could capture on camera… so far.

Does a bunny really “say” “hop-hop”? Just teasing – I would not have come up with anything better. Better question – what noise does a giraffe make (saw that picture in one frame)?

I love this! They are so adorable, I love that we can actually see them in action and hear their sweet voices. That’s so funny that he can actually fit in the cabinet! I look forward to seeing more!
