Thursday Theater

By Goddess in Progress ·   March 12th, 2009

Welcome, once again, to Thursday Theater!  This is my new weekly feature to help encourage each other to get more practice with our video skills.

Today’s optional theme is: SONG!  Do you or your kids have a particular favorite? Or do you just want to add some music to your videos?  Go for it!

Please add your links to Mr. Linky, below.  Also remember, use good Linky etiquette and please add the direct link to your video post, not just the general link to your blog’s main page!  And, if you’re on Vimeo, don’t forget to join our group.

As for me… I have some cute footage of my kids and their love for Wheels on the Bus.  But winter is apparently not done kicking my ass and I have what seems to be my 19th consecutive stomach bug.  So, I haven’t finished editing and uploading the video.  Hopefully I’ll manage it later today.  In the meantime, add your links and check out other people who are playing along!

EDITED TO ADD:

My video!  Wheels on the Bus is far and away the favorite song in my house right now.  They can tell when a verse is about to end and stage a preemptive “more! again!”  They also sometimes request the topic for the next verse, but disagree on their favorites.  And, lucky you, you get to listen to me sing. Clearly, being a mom has removed any sense of embarrassment that I might have once had.

When you posted the topic, I figured it would be fairly easy to get a video of Nate singing as he sings all the time.

Sorry to hear you are sick again!!!

By far, fave part of that video is Rebecca telling you NO. I’ve lost count of the number of times my boys have told me NO SINGING!

That is too cute. I love how they know all the motions.

I am still working on getting my videos on Vimeo. I tried with this one, but for some reason, it didn’t work. I found a tutorial on-line so I am going trying to follow that and see if I can make some progress. I am still in the early stages of Mac ownership, so I am learning.

    Awesome!

That’s a favorite in our house too. Their favorite verses are the horn and the baby (so funny! wa-wa-wa, complete with eye wiping).

My least favorite verses that they know are “the mommies on the bus go shh-shh-shh”, because then the daddies go “i love you!”. WTF? Why do the mommies get the bad rap?

They are too cute asking for more before you ever get close to the end. I love that they even do the motions with you.
